HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have a small abscess which is a localized collection of pus.

Treatment would involve: (1) cleaning the area with an antiseptic at least twice daily ,
(2) warm compress with magnesium sulphate paste also at least twice daily and
(3)the use of a topical antibiotic
(4)an anti inflammatory pain killer would help reduce any swelling or discomfort that may be present eg naproxen, cataflam, voltaren

If there is no improvement then you may need a course of oral antibiotics from your doctor.

I hope this helps
