What Does A Hard Lump On The Right Temple Indicate?

I have a small hard lump no bigger than a pea beneath the skin very close to my right temple. This lump formed after hitting my head hard a few weeks back. The bump is hard feeling but isn t sore to touch. The bump is quite noticeable visually and I concerned on what it is. Any ideas?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Considering your description this is obviously a posttraumatic fibroma which is benign subcutaneous lesion taht appears after injury due to hematoma hardening. This is not concerning and may be just estetical issue. Only if there are skin changes such as redness, pus discharge or pain and fever then you should see doctor since it may indicate inflammation of fibroma. It may disappear within 6 months after injury but if not, then it can be easily surgically removed under local anesthesia.
