What Does A Discoloured Spot On The Leg Indicate?

I have a discolouration stop on my leg, it started as a small circle a couple years ago and over time it grows and changes it shape. Their is no bump or pain , but im unsure what it is. A doctor i seen said its a fungus and it will go away in a week but almost a year later its still present and changing shape.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Try applying micanozole ointment twice daily for at least two months over the affected area. If it is not itchy and without any swelling, you need not worry. It will go away in near future. Keep good personal hygiene. You will be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suhas Chauhan
