What Does A Blister On The Right Knee Indicate?

I developed a blister (nickel size) on the front of my right knee (under the patella) after about 2 weeks of progressively worsening knee-joint pain. The blister broke about 4-5 days ago (with a burning sensation) and is continuing to drain, however I have also noticed a marked lessening of the joint pain after the blister broke. Could this be related to water on the knee ?

Hello and welcome.
As I went through your query throughly it seems to me you have got the joint infection which can be of any cause.
As you said there is drainage of pus, Pain and now clicking sound these are symptoms of infection and inflammation.
You also must take some precautions.
1 avoid too much fast running.
2 take plenty of fluids.
3 visit an orthopedician for further evaluation.
During mean time you must take the antibiotics (Amoxycilin 500mg trice daily for three days)
Also check your or get it checked if you have raised signs
.
Regards.....
