What Does UTI With Loss Of Appetite And High WBC Count In Children Suggest?

my 9yr.old daughter is lethargic, loss of appetite, loss of 7lbs in 2 weeks, vomiting 5 out of 7 months, sleeping constantly, and has a high white blood cell count....her renal scan came back negative. her thyroid is fine. had a slight urinary tract infection . what can cause all this ?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your daughter has urinary tract infection and it caused septicemia. Septicemia leads to high wbc count with lethargy and loss of appetite.
She need to take higher antibiotics like cephalosporine or levofloxacin. Drink plenty of water. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
