What Does Fetal Left Kidney Is Dilated Pelvicalyceal System Mean?
Hi my wife is pregnant and the latest u/s report suggested that the Fetal left kidney is dilated pelvicalyceal system. A- P Diameter is 11 mm @ 35 wks 4 days gestation .. Pls throw some light in this .. as we are a bit worried about this .. Rudradip
This means that for some reasons, the urine is not flowing normally and it is being blocked. This has let to accumulation and dilation of the collecting system.
