What Does BP Diastolic - 46 Or 49 Indicate?

I had a heart attack 4 years ago and am now well but on medications, one of which is Olmetec for high blood pressure. I ve been checking my blood pressure and it appears low e.g. Diastolic - 46 or 49. Systolic is fine. Do I need to change my meds.? I often feel very tired. I also take a statin, aspirin and something for acid reflux.

Hi welcome to HCM.
Low diastolic blood pressure can be due to diastolic dysfunction of the heart. This can result in low blood pressures.Revising antihypertensive dosage schedules can help to improve the blood pressure.I advice you to have a baseline EKG and a screening 2 dimensional echo to assess the residual cardiac ejection fraction or pumping efficacy of the heart.Drugs like inotropes can help to improve the cardiac function.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
Thank you
