What Do These WBC And Platelet Count Post Chemotherapy Indicate?

15 year girl was diagnosed by acute lymphoblastic leukemia(pre b with 90% blast cell bone marrow ) . With pancytopneia her platlet was 21 . She is now on the 10 days of chemotherapy ,all doctors told us that her cbc will decrease due to chemo but now her platlet reach 105 and the rbcs is near the normal value but white blood cell low and blast cell in blood is not seen at all So what do the platlet and rbcs counts indicate to ? Is it fast improvement ?

Hi,

This is cancer of blood and treatment is by chemotherapy. Chemotherapy kill the fast growing immature cancer cells and to some extent also kills normal mature cells so when being treated with chemotherapy most of blood cells platelets and white blood cells will go.
