What Do Swollen Bumps On The Forehead Indicate?

My son came home from school with 3 bumps on his forehead that look like insect bites. They are swelling a bit. One of them is draining a clear fluid. I m not sure what they are or how we should treat them. We gave ibuprofen and put a cold compress on them.

Hello,

I think I can better help you through diagnosis if you send me a photo of them attached.

If you are sure are insect bites you can use an antibiotic and corticosteroid cream like bethametazon and gentamicin to treat infection and reduce inflammation.

Also, use ketotifen to reduce itching and redness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
