What Do Swelling , Inflammation And Blisters On The Toes Indicate?

I have a swollen foot with redness and blisters on the top of my toes. I was treated for gout with no success and then given antibiotics to cure any infection. I have also been given prednisone. None of these treatments have been beneficial. I am unable to walk or use that foot. What could the problem be?

Hello,

Do you say you have gout and have you been given anti-inflammatory medication to treat gout? If so what are those medication given? Did you get your tophi crystals deposited in the goutic joint examined and if they can do culture and sensitivity after a biopsy from any swollen joint, the report can be beneficial for treating us if there is an infection? So if I were the physician treating you, then I would have gone to investigate you for the same and try to come to any diagnosis and give a regimen of treatment to help halt the disease and cure it for your better.
