What Do Swelling And Pain In The Abdomen Indicate?
I have had pancreatitis about 3 years ago. i am pretty sure I have it again. my symptoms are swollen abdomen, painful abdomen, tender to touch. i do not have a gb anymore. they had to go back in to put a clip on my bile duct because the bile was leaking out into my abdomen. i also have diarrhea.
Dear your not mentioned the cause for your pancreatitis?? are you alcoholic??or any gall stones that causing your problem??
If post cholecystectomy bile leak is the cause for your problem means you need clip to place there through surgery.
Bile cause peritoneal irritation lead to chemical peritonitis lead to distension. Avoid alcohol and spicy food, Avoid smoking.
Please consult your gastroentrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care
