hi. i was at work and my left side under my rib felt like i was being stabbed then it swelled and got red and blotchy. no trauma just all the sudden. it hurts like its under pressure and i don t know if its life treating. but it does hurt really bad like a 7.

I think you should consider visiting a doctor to examine you physically and maybe do you an ultrasound. You have to go as soon as possible to eliminate the inner haemorrhage.
