What Do Soft And Itchy Bumps Near My Intergluteal Cleft Indicate?

I have what I thought was hemorrhoids near the top of my butt crack, but every symptom I read online states they are mostly located by the anus. The bumps are soft, lumpy, a little itchy, and a little sore. One just popped up and then seemed to get worse. What could they be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The bumps at the butt cleft seems to be fungal om n origin caused due to sweating & undergarments making the area damp & favorable for fungal growth. Should try to keep the area clean & dry. Apply Neosporin H dusting powder to it. Should ne fine within 4-5 days, if not consult a dermatologist gor oral medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
