I was coughing up small mat of blood in sputum and rocks. they diagnosed me with granulomatosis. I have pain constantly on my right chest area in ribs and under my breast. as well as my left lower rib area. today I coughed up a rock with skin tissue attached. Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you to consult your pulmonologist for TB culture and TB PCR of the sputum. Granulomatosis is a general term and it needs to be found out which type of granulomatosis is affecting the lungs.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
