What Do Small Bumps On The Chin Indicate?

This afternoon, I noticed several large bumps on my chin. I have had acne in the past, but these are different because I had no warning (no soreness in the area within a day or so before); and they appear to be getting larger rather than smaller after I placed acne medicine on them. I have resisted the urge to scratch them, but I they are itchy. Can you help me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

There, please tell me your age for proper diagnosis. Probably the itchy bus that you are referring to are Acne but a different form. I will advise you to consult a local dermatologist so that he may provide you with Retinol acid creams, antihistamines and any topical steroid if that needed.

Thank you for the query. Hope this clarifies your concerns.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
