I have white scale like patches on my head. I peel them off because they itch like crazy but the next day it s like I never touched them. They come right back over night. What could it be? I don t have insurance so can you recommend something I csn try myself?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The best thing to do in your case is to examine skin scrapping and hair under the microscope.

As you do not have insurance, should:
- Change the shampoo you are currently using.
- Before washing your hair, should massage with olive or argan oil; leave for 30 minutes; then, wash with thistle nettle shampoo.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
