Hello,

As per your case history you may be having wound site infection or wound gaping.

My advice is:
• The signs of redness and tenderness are suggestive of inflammation. So there may be mild infection at that site.
• Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream.
• Take a NSAID like Ibuprofen for pain and redness.
• If complain persists beyond 7 days then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
