What Do Red Particles In The Stool Indicate?

I have been finding red balls in my stool. Usually one a time and only every now and then. They are a light red, almost white on one side. I examined one a little closer and noticed it was hard, a little bigger than a skittle. The whiter part looked like it had follicles with a head in the middle. I’m freaking out. Please tell me what this could be!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

What appears in the stool is depending on what you are eating. So, fiber or red dye components in the food/drink can also appear in your stool. That is the same scenario as in your case as long as you are not having any gastrointestinal issue.

Keep good hygiene especially when using food utensils.
All the best.
