Hi I am a 42-year-old female. Last Wednesday I noticed a few pinkish spots appear on my forearms. Thought nothing of it. The next day as I looked down during lunch my hand became covered them. Since then they have turned brown. Some of the spots are perfectly spherical. And others look linear almost like splash marks. Went to a dermatologist who had two of her partners come into examined me and they could not seem to figure out what it is. Any ideas for me?
It could be an insect bite hypersensitivity reaction or photodermatitis. I would recommend you to apply calamine lotion on the affected areas and take antihistaminic like tablet chlorpheniramine maleate.
