What Do Painful Red Spots On The Face Indicate?

Hi, i have red spots all over my face, they are very very sore and seem to be spreading. I went to the doctor on tuesday and he put me on e-mycin and gave me a cream, but they are just getting worse and spreading! I have pictures i can send you also. Also i feel like they have gone into my scalp because its very itchy and sore.

By your history and description, possibility of severe herpes infection is more likely.
You might need injectable acyclovir (anti viral), prednisone (steroid) and other supportive drugs.
So better to consult another dermatologist and ask for hospital admission as your symptoms are worsening with current drugs.
