What Do Numbness And Pain In The Hands Indicate?

i have numbness in my hands, pain that wakes me in the night, one hand more than the other.....there is a lump, on both hands, just behind the thumb in my palm...It has grown worse over time...Is surgery necessary, or can simple exercises clear up the problem???I have numbness in my right thumb all the time!!

The lump in mentioned site could be tendon sheath fibroma like lesion.

Local part x ray should be taken for further work up.

Local excision should be done after examination if needed
