What Do My Urinalysis Test Results Indicate?

Hi Dr Andrew, I have had persistent urinary tract infections and candida. Recently i took a urinalysis and my results were as follows: Urine-App (pale yellow and slightly turbid), blood (++) RBC/u/L, Leucocytes (70+) WBC/uL and urine micro (10-15 pus cells) and Red blood cells +. I am experiencing lower abdominal pain, pain to the right side of my stomach and terrible back ache. Also when i am passing urine, the last bits are so painful that i want to hold. I also have brownish discharge, not smelling that much and not itching. I am using pads. The discharge also has some blood. I am very worried. What problem do i have?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you are having a urinary tract infection are also having blood in urine. You may do an uroculture in order to find the kind of bacteria which is causing it and the right antibiotics which are needed to cure it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
