I received MRI results that sound like medical jargon what do I REALLY need to do or what do they really mean. I am 53, healthy until this incident of piercing pain in right arm and then pain so severe, diagnosed with pinched nerve. Have been seeing a chiropractor for about 2months. I am including for first x-rays given in December. The MRI was had 5/13/16. I am trying to figure out if the chiropractor visits have been helpful. INITIAL XRAY on 12/13/2015 Findings: 4 views of the cervical spine, without prior study for comparison, demonstrate scattered degenerative changes with disc space narrowing noted at C5-6. No acute fracture or dislocation. Alignment is intact from occiput to T1. Neuroforaminal narrowing is noted in the right C3-4, C4-5, AND C5-6, and left C3-4, and C5-6. No prevertebral soft tissue swelling. MRI 5/13/2016 Impression: Mild multilevel mid cervical degenerative changes are noted from C3-4 through C6-C7 without critical canal stenosis or cord deformity. Grade 1 retrolisthesis of C5 on C6 is noted. Moderate right C4-5 and moderate to severe C5-6 neural foraminal stenosis is observed. Thank you for your time, Smah
