What Do Mood Swings, back Ache And Fatigue With Delayed Periods Suggest?

Hello, I had unprotected sex about a week ago, I am sure that semen got into vaginal opening after ejaculation. A few days (2-4) afterwards I started to feel slight cramps. Now 8 days later, I feel all my usual PMS symptoms (back ache, mood swings, fatigue, food cravings) but my back seems to be hurting more than usual (mostly hurting while sitting or laying on stomach, now hurting just in general) and my entire body aches, plus I feel slight nausea come and go throughout the day. These symptoms aren t normal for me. Since it was only a week ago since the incident should I take a test? My roommates period comes a week before mine and she got hers last Friday and mine is yet to come. Is this just PMS?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I think these are normal PMS symptoms and your anxiety have made the symptoms worse. Take some anxiolytic for a few days and see the results.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
