What Do Missed Periods And Bloating While On Mirena IUD Indicate?
I have a Mirena iud and my boyfriend has a vascetomy. My period was due on Nov 21. It is not here yet. Is it possible to be pregnant? ?? My period has been delayed before but I m concerned about the bloating erc. I ve had the iud since 2011. I noticed that my periods are more irregular than when I first got it installed. I have a normal pap. I had my annual in November. I also had a sonogram in October because my abdomen was tender. I have a history of ovarian cysts. My IUD was in place. Please advise

yes you must check with your gyanec as to whether the device is in place or not. and moreover as you have ovarian cysts , periods can become irregular due to the same if the cysts are the polycystic type. the best way to keep it regular is to reduce your weight if its on the higher end and take the necessary pills as suggested by your doctor for ovarian cysts
