What Do Itchy Pink Bumps On Legs Indicate?

Hello, I have had these small itchy pink bumps on my legs, and also a couple on my arms and two or three on my stomach, for the past week now. When I scratch them the itchiness intensifies but they don t itch all the time if I ignore it the itchiness goes away but the bumps stay. It seems like I get more and more each day. I m gonna go see a dr early next week if I can t do something about it myself.

Hi,

The lesions on legs you described may be lichen urticatus...also called papular urticaria. There may be itchy vesiculopapular eruptions on extremities and trunk. The cause may be hypersensitivity to insects like bedbug, flea or mosquitoes.

You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Antihistaminics and steroids intappering dose might improve the lesions. Combined cream of steroid and antibiotic would be helpful. Take precautions to prevent contact and bites of insects.

I hope this would be helpful to you.

Thanks.
