What Do Distinct White Areas On An MRI Report Indicate?
The last MRI I had done of my brain showed three distinct white areas. When I asked the doctor what that meant, I did not receive an answer other that it was common to see them in older patients. I was 75 at the time. I am now 77 and have been diagnosed with Parkinson s Disease. I have an inherited essential, or familial, tremor that has bothered me since my early 40 s and am taking Clonazapam which does not really help much. For the Parkinson s I am taking Carbidopa Levadopa which seems to help so far.

You must have calcified pineal glands. It is a normal thing after the age of 40 years. So just relax.
