What Do Delayed Periods After Intercourse Indicate?

Hi, I was intimate with someone on the 24th of december.. then my periods got delayed. I had a little spotting on the 23th of january and then got my periods on 30th of january. My regular mentrual cycle. Took several pregnancy tests and 2 blood tests.. all negative. If I were to calculate from my first day of the period before intimacy it would 11 weeks this week of gestation. I feel the symtoms. Breast soreness, tireness, my tummy feels weird. Could I still be pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If you have your cycle after the intercourse then there is no chance of getting pregnant. The negative tests also confirms this. The feeling you said is not specific for pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your question. I will be glad to answer any further question about this.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
