What Do Chest Pain And Swelling In The Stomach Indicate?

I am a 50 year old female. August 12, 2015 I had a heart attack. My mitral valve was not working right, after cath, I was told that 70 % on the left side was damaged. I was in the hospital for 3weeks, home for 3 days and then back for 10 more days. After my latest stress test and all the others I was told that I had 42% on the left and 56% on the right, not to worry. I do worry! I have chest pains, swelling in my stomach is the worse place on my body, and severe sweats a lot. Am I crazy to worry so much. I was told I have congestive heart failure. After the last test, the one I just mentioned, the intern told me my heart was fine. Sincerely, Leslie Cowden . I m also poor and don t have $15. Thanks

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, current chest pain is due to weakness of heart so far as pumping and other parameters are concerned.

The stomach swelling can be due to indigestion or else.

Do feel free to ask further doubts.

Take care.

Regards.
