What Do Burning Sensation And Pain In The Tonsils Indicate?

I just had intense burning, stinging of pain in left tonsil that brought on a gagging feeling with nausea and then the intense feeling spread to my left inner ear? I am 32 and have never had an ear infection. After a few minutes it dissipated with a few sips of liquid. Any ideas what this is?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to bacterial infection. Taking antibiotics like Co amoxiclav will be helpful. You can also use throat lozenges like strepsils.
Thanks.
