What Do Bruise On The Thigh And Dizziness Indicate?

I woke up this am and noticed a bruise on my left thigh. I also felt very light-head and the room was spinning. I was also confused. I am known for having seizures. I called my neurologist and they called back and told me to call my primary doctor. I had already called my primary doctor and waited for a response back. I recalled my primary and this is when he responded to go to the er (by this time all the symptoms I was having was no longer there). Could I have had a seizure during the night?
