What Do Blood Spots Under The Skin Indicate?

thank you. I am puzzled. I just started to get blood marks under my skin. Then my B/P is low, 97/60, but my pulse is 107. I am not on aspirin, nor blood thinners, (Simvastatin, 20mg.) The only culprit I am thinking of is, I have been on antihistamine 25mg. for sometime now for hives. But I have been on it at a regular basis for about 3 months. I take atenolol 25mg for my heart rate. Wondering if my platelets are low?? My face feels flushed, my cheeks are red, but no fever.

Hi,

As you mentioned, anti-histaminics can lead to mild drop in blood pressure. If you are not having active allergy, you can safely stop anti-histaminic drug. Moreover, drink plenty of fluids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
