What Do Backache And Swelling In The Eyes Indicate?

I live in a high malaria zone, Uganda. We have lived here 13 years, and I have never gotten malaria. I have only once taken malaria medicine, but have never taken profilactics. We are preparing to leave, and my body has been very stressed with the move. My back is aching severely, and my eyes have swollen almost closed. I went to the doctor for my eyes, and he said it was an allergy. On allergy meds. I was wondering if perhaps with the stress, I could have a small amount of malaria. What do you think?

Hey,
Do you have any history of fever?
Backache could be most likely due to the shifting you are busy in. Is your swelling settled on allergy medication? If yes then it most likely was allergy or else if the swelling progresses to periorbital region then it might be that you need your renal function tests.
Do you have pain in other joints of body? As severe backache and retro orbital pain can point towards other type of fevers too.
