What Do A Delay In Periods And Negative Pregnancy Test Result Indicate?

Hi, I used to have regular period but no conception. My gnc prescribed m2 tone. I started using it once daily. Then my menses delayed for more than a week. I thought I was pregnant but my pt was negative. I started bleeding after 8 days delay. Now the bleeding won t stop for 8days now. Is m2 tone the cause?

Thanks for putting your query over here.
You say your cycles have been regular till now.If you get menses by 8 days late now that won't be called as irregularity or delay. Its part of normal variation seen in menstrual cycles caused due to various changes taking inside body.It can be considered normal of variation of 24-35 days for menstrual cycles. If you are experiencing symptoms of heavy bleeding repeatedly,I recommend you to visit gynaecologist so that USG abdo and other investigations can be done to assess cause of the problem.
Thanks and regards.
