Hello,

Avoid using Podowart for now and let the area relax and swelling reduce. You are advised to get clinically examined by a GP or a urologist. As I can understand from information provided you may be suffering from STIs. Get tested for STIs and also get other required blood tests done. To reduce pain and discomfort you can take pain relieving medicines like naproxen, one stat when needed.

Pain in the scrotum is commonly due to hydrocele, hernia, diabetic neuropathy, testicular torsion, UTI or any other infection, etc. Get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. Pathology detected and the severity of the symptoms will determine treatment. Antibiotics and antivirals are the treatment medication. Do not indulge in any type of sexual activity till you are being treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
