What Diet Is Advisable While On Oxycodone?

Hi my husband is in hospital for open heart surgery and they have been giving him oxicodone for pain but two years again he had shingles of the face and was in a lot of pain and he had a severe reaction to oxicodone and they later prescribed tramadol which worked better. The same thing has happened again with a severe reaction to oxicodone. What foods are best foods to eat with these powerful pain killers as he is currently is nauseas and throwing up - I believe because he had not eaten yesterday. Looking for advice on best foods for him to take

hi
usually an inpatient under a physician care in hospital is fully assessed clinically and depending on physical condition parameters is prescribed hospital diet.Ideally that’s more scientific.Only precautions is no pain med should be taken empty stomach.vomitting may be controlled with injectible anti emetics and he should take liquids diets in small quantity but very frequently if his pulse and BP are regulated and patient not in dehydration.
Anydietor foodstuff that he relishes can be given if vomitting stops by above measures.consult your doctor also
