What Could Tongue Pain Be Along With Pain In Left Chin And Cheek With Eating Difficulty?

Hi doctors..im mj..27 years of age..hope you can help me..I have been suffering from severe tongue pain but no ulcers and I have swelling and pain also under my left chin and neck..ive been to see a dentist but they said no problem in my teeth..im suffering from these tongue paib since sept 2013..I cannot eeat.i have pain to move my tongue especially when im eating..I cannot work properly..please help me..this tongue pain really hurts..I already lost 7kg ..please help me....

Hi,
Your tongue pain without any visible ulcer needs to be evaluated by examination including palpation by an ENT. If need be an MRI of the tongue may be done. If it is normal then the possibility of neuralgic pain needs to be considered for which neurological examination is needed. All these measures need to be taken before a management plan can be chalked out.
