What Could The Tender Lump At The End Of An Old Scar Be ?
I am 67 years old. Forty years ago, I had surgery for a suspicious lump on my lower back. I recently discovered a lump at the end of the old scar. It is tender to the touch. I squeezed it and nothing comes out. Also, I had a stitch in the same area that I could feel. Now there is only this lump.
Hello there! post surgical recurrence of lump with tender to touch. i would say it point to many etiologies. so why dont you seek a general surgeon for that, he will assess the status of lump and if needed get the histopathology done, or if bothering you enough, they can excise that for you too under local anesthesia. good luck s khan
