What Could Sore And Painful Wrist While Rotating Indicate?

I woke up with a sore wrist I can t seem to rotate it left or right. I can bend it forward and back, I can make a fist but I can t seem to rotate it like starting a car without the pain. the pain is about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 when I try and rotate my hand.

HELLO,
i can understand your concern.
since you have said the wrist is sore i would assume it to be due a trauma.
soreness of the joints usually take one week to ten days to heal. so you need not worry about it.
i would advise an anti inflammatory drug like aceclofenac 200mg twice daily for five days.
hot fomentation over the joint would be very much beneficial to you.
kindly restrict the movements at the wrist till the healing process. a crepe bandage can be applied for the same.
kindly follow the advises mentioned, you would recover soon.
