What Could Severe Pain In Left Hip After Gentamicin Bladder Instillation Indicate?
I just received a gentamicin bladder instillation today for recurrent bladder infections. A few hours ago I had severe pain in my left hip. I can not get comfortable and I can not walk. I do not know if it is out of place or if there is a side effect to this medicine that I should be concerned about.

Dear how old are you?? Gentamicin may cause muscle twitching and weakness more in old age people may cause pain.
other possibilities like allergic drug reaction or left hip avascular necrosis etc..
Drink plenty of water, take tab. Ultracet twice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
