What Could Red Swollen Penis Be With Irritation On Itching?

I have a red swollen penis. The head of my penis and the foreskin that laps the head of my penis is red and swollen to it can be irratating by being itch, i went in the bath and pulled foreskin back and it was like the head of my penis was peeling, what is this? And is this serious?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have infection of glans penis and foreskin (Ballono-Posthatitis).

It could be due to unprotected sex or Diabetes .

Please get your blood sugars level on empty stomach and 2 hours after lunch done to rule out the same.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along and anti fungal medicine like Fluconozone and topical anti fungal jelly for local application.with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.
