What Could Recurring Sharp Pain In Left Rib Area With Rapid Heartbeat Indicate?

I ve been having reoccurring, constant pain in left side rib area to under breath my breast and it hurts to inhale, very sharp, burning pain, it is not a muscle strain, had tv at one time, moderate smoker, wheezing, shortness of breath and rapid heart beat. No medical insurance, wondering if it could be lung/rib carcinoid?

Considering your lifestyle, this pain can be of underlying heart disease and it’s recommended for you to get a basic cardiac evaluation done which includes an ECG, echocardiography and treadmill test done and consult with reports.
