What Could Recurring Seizures Causing Significant Amnesia Indicate?
I recently had a major seizure. I have a hereditary seizure d/o inherited from my father. I have not experienced a seizure in 10-15 years. I take my medicine regularly-Kepra 750 mg 2 tabs po bid. The upsetting part of this incident is I am enduring significant amnesia. usually I am aware of having the sweizure and a I am lethargic/sleepy for approximately 48 hrs. This latest seizure was occurred 6/22/2015. I am slowly regaining my awareness, this runs the gamut from familiarity with my job, to my coworkers, as well as knowledge of my computer pin codes as well as my ATM pin codes

You may need to change medication, as the confusion after the seizure seems to be lasting too long and it is interfering with your daily activity. For this reason, I would recommend switching to Valproate or Carbamazepine. You should discuss with your doctor on the above treatment options.
