What Could Raised Moles With Mild Pain Suggest?

I have had this small mole for maybe 4 or 5 years, with no pain or swelling previously. Just this morning, while showering, I noticed it hurt on just light contact (water running down my back brought pain), and was raised above the skin a few millimeters. Should I be concerned? Hi,

The mole may be infected..that why you get tenderness,i.e. pain on touch.
You may consult you dermatologist. Short course of antibiotic and
antiinflammatory drugs would benefit you...ok

Thanks..
