What Could Positive HPT Indicate Despite Taking Abortion Pills?

I took searle 1461 six days ago, after 4 hours I started to cramp, the next I started to pass bloodclots and by the thrid day it was finished. I still have not seen my period and I used a pregnancy test but it is still showing that I am pregnant. Did these pills work or am I still pregnant?

Self-medication to induce a medical abortion is in itself a complication as it can lead to incomplete abortion, heavy bleeding or infection. In the current scenario, you need to see a specialist for a proper clinical evaluation, get a trans-vaginal sonogram to see if there are any retained products and plan further management accordingly.
