What Could Painful Bump Under Skin In Right Nostril Indicate?
hi im having some pain in my gum/nose area its a nice size bump under my skin i originally thought it was a tooth ache but now i see its not its not noticeable but when fold my lips i can see this painful bimp in my right nostril its been going on since thursday now and its tuesday and still hasnt went and it also makes smilling alot harder now so do you by chance know what it is? Any recommendations?

I can understand your pain, this is kind of boil and this is commonly occurring in this area this is painful lesion, some time pus also forms in this boil, if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with the following medicine
1) Tab. Ibuprofen 400 mg twice a day
2) Tab Acetaminophen three times in day
I usually do not prescribe antibiotic in early inflammatory phase because this could turn the lesion into antibioma and that is very notorious, nothing to worry about this you will get nice relief with this drugs, take care and have nice day.

It appears that you have a boil, due to bacterial infection, in the gum area, and it spread into the nose,due to th ewspread of the infection.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.You may need to have an incision, and drainage of the boil, for quick recovery.
After incision, i usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, and serratiapeptidase, and diclofenac sodium.
