What Could It Be If Having Sticky, Bloody Discharge From Anus While Doing Ab Crunches?

hii... 3 month ago i was doing exercise abbs crunches . i was lay on flat ground and then I got sticky fluid leaking from my anus ( ass Joint). it was lil bit smelling and lil bit blood mixed. i also have hair on my back. is that dangerous ? and what is it ?

Hello and good to hear from you. Close to the anal opening there are glands that secrete fluid - its function is to help stool pass more easily. However, sometimes these glands can get swollen or irritated. The blood mixed is bright red, correct? You most likely have hemorrhoids either just inside the anal opening or may be peeking out like cauliflower.

When you do crunches you are straining like you do when on the toilet. Something is going on down there that you may want looked at if it continues to be a problem. A digital exam, occult stool tests will give you more information on what course to take - treat hemorrhoids if there, treat any other problem discovered and the doctor may want a colonoscopy if further symptoms develop.

Avoid constipation! Do not strain at bowels. Drink 64 ounces of water per day for ease of stool passing.
