What Could Have Caused Burning And Itching In The Shoulder For 29-year-olds?

I am a female 29 years old 5 8 130 lbs. 24 hours ago my left shoulder began burning and itching with no obvious bite. Just beneath the collarbone and spreading to the other side reaching the middle of my shoulder blade. Within minutes of that my bones and muscles on the left side same area began aching horribly. It felt like an arrow going through my chest and shoulder. A tingling numbness followed and spread down the arm and has since spread the entire left side of my body head to toes left side only. There is still shoulder pain and the tingling intensifying with each hour. Was this a bite??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

I also suggest using cold compresses and immobilize the area to prevent further damage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
