What Could Feeling Of Swelling At Bottom Of Foot, Discomfort While Walking Indicate?

the bottom of my foot where the toes connect feel swollen. it feels like when you put on socks and then shoes and the socks roll up between your foot and toes. its mostly in the middle part of the foot on bottom. kinds feels like its swollen but I don't see any inflammation, just feels that way. wondering if it could be ganglion(or basically calcium build up). I have had a problem with that in my hands and had to have it removed. Its starting to cause discomfort when im walking. I sit at a desk and notice I have pressure on that part of my foot when sitting and also walk bare foot on hard wood floors at home. I go to my VA doctor next week and was wondering if you had any possible causes or solutions I might tell him about.
thanks

Thank you for asking on HCM
If i was your consulting physician i would suggest the following:
1. It may be a simple corn. A condition in which there is incresed production of the keratin in the skin due to pressure and it appear like a swelling and causes discomforted. It can be removed by a simple procedure.
2. It may a plantar wart. Wart is caused due to virus and is treated with salicylic acid dressing then liquid nitrogen is used to kill the virus sitting at the bottom. Sometime electrocautry is also used.

I hope you find this helpful
