What Could Feeling Of Muscle Tightness Around The Chest And Lungs Indicate?
Hello, I am a 33 year old male I was sleeping when I woke up feeling a little chest pressure felt a little like muscle tightness around my chest and lungs, felt pressure in my throat, then I had back pain which felt like muscle tightness for sure, lasted about 3-4 minutes. I didn t really have trouble breathing.
Hello I share your concern Tightness in chest is a matter of concern, This could be related to heart, lung disease or chest wall disease In my opinion you should consult your GP for recording of blood pressure and EKG to rule out heart disease
I would like to know if you had similar symptoms in recent past whether you smoke or drink
In the absence of breathlessness and looking at your age, if heart disease can be ruled out than it could be muscle spasm or costochondritis In such a condition you need not to worry much you can take acetaminophen with muscle relaxant like tizanidine or chlorzoxazone for immediate relief Hot foementation and deep brearhing exercises will definitely help you
Thanks for your question please feel free to ask for more clarification, I will gladly answer you wish you good health Regards
